Tech companies adopting discriminatory attitude

During this, the country alleged that these social media platforms were adopting a discriminatory attitude towards Russian media companies. In this case, Facebook then said that Russia has deprived millions of people of reliable information from this ban.
Reduced reach of government agencies
Roskomnadzor, the Russian government’s censorship agency, said that since October 2020, Facebook had reported a total of 26 cases of discrimination against Russian media. The Russian government accused the news agency RT and RIA of reducing the reach of the accounts of government-backed channels.
